Summer Fun - Tupperware Lemon-Lime Press Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

Summer has finally arrived and we couldn't be more excited! The weather's nice and lots of fun is to be had. That's why we're celebrating this fun season as well as Mel moving into a new house on a lake here at Outnumbered 3 to 1. There is nothing better than a tall crystal clear glass of cold water, the condensation trickling off in slow rivets, the ice silently crackling as the temperature warms from the heat of the summer. With a spritz of lemon it makes the ideal drink on a hot day, especially if you live in the Midwest.

"Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C. It also contains vitamins like vitamin B, riboflavin and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium as well as proteins and carbohydrates. I started researching lemon water randomly when I was given the chance to review Tupperware's Lemon Lime Press. What I found out was amazing! Did you know that Lemon Water when applied to areas of a burn can fade scars? Or that it has anti-aging properties that help with the reduction of wrinkles? It also helps cure sore throats, bleeding gums, controls high-blood pressure, Rheumatism, relieves digestive problems and even reduces fevers! Afterward I realized that adding a little lemon to my water every day was doing more than just curing my thirst and the Tupperware Lemon Lime Press was an amazing gift I couldn't wait to review!

The Tupperware Lemon Lime Press came neatly packaged in a gift box. Which is wonderful if you want to give one as a gift. After cleaning it I immediately sliced a lemon in half and tried it out. It was so simple! It appears as though it might take a strong hand to wield it but it wasn't at all difficult and in no time I was sipping a glass of cool ice water with lemon. That's when I got the idea to see what else it could do! I tried limes, which I realized would be great in a margarita. Then I pressed the lemons and began spritzing chicken, making marinades and of course, sweet sugar sun-tea with lemon! I suppose if you had the patience you could even make yourself a small glass of lemonade!

The ergonomic design of this handy press is easy to grasp. It provides enough leverage so that little strength is needed to juice lemons, limes and small oranges. Simply squeeze the handles together. It strains out both the pulp and the seeds, so any beverages you make will contain nothing but pure juice. It also comes apart for easy cleaning and storage.

It works great for recipes that ask for Lemon Juice, especially since the Lemons are really cheap! Lemon Pepper steaks, chicken, kabobs and Lemon Cakes, Lemon Bars.... all would benefit from this wonderful little invention. No pulp or seeds getting all over the meat or batter, just perfect pure juice. The Tupperware Lemon Lime Press is now one of the necessary tools in our kitchen!
