Summer Fun- Step 2 Sand and Water Fun Farm Review & Giveaway! {CLOSED}

Summer has finally arrived and we couldn't be more excited! The weather's nice and lots of fun is to be had. That's why we're celebrating this fun season as well as Mel moving into a new house on a lake here at Outnumbered 3 to 1. Who isn't familiar with Step 2 toys? Easy to assemble, quality products, and (at least in my experience) FABULOUS customer service. Here I am with a review of their Sand and Water Fun Farm. Specifically this is a toy that can be used outside- and no doubt you have seen a bunch of reviews for this product explaining exactly how it's used outside. I, however, have a different twist on this wonderful toy- as we never did put sand or water in it once!!

The day it arrived, my two year old son was thrilled. THRILLED to 'help' me put it together too, which thankfully was super easy as the assembly of stuff is usually delegated to my husband.

Well, at that point it was raining, so we just put it in the living room. And there it has stayed, probably going on a month now, and it is used every single day.

B LOVES it. He loves that he can use it for his cars and that it comes with some carts and animals. He loves the tracks and the windmill in the middle. He also likes that he can put his other small trains on it and make them go around the track as well. The middle parts (for the sand and water I am assuming) contain the toys that live on this table. Everything stays together!

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the barn thing that doesn't stay attached. It pops off  pretty easily and he can't figure out how to get it back on, so we usually just leave it off. I love this as an indoor toy, but it would also be awesome as an outdoor toy. I mean, that IS the intended purpose right? Haha. I think what might make this table even better is if there was a drain or plug in the bottom so that you could drain out the water or sand if need be.

Overall- this is yet  another fantastic and versatile toy from Step 2. Toys that can be used for more than just one  purpose are a goldmine in my opinion- so we absolutely recommend!
