It appears that it is that time of year again. No, I don't mean holiday season I mean cold and flu season. Time to stock up on tissues, surface cleaners and hand soaps. I prefer to use cleaning products and disinfectants with no harsh chemicals which is probably why I like Seventh Generation Products so much.
Seventh Generation's Mission Statement is:
To inspire a revolution that nurtures the health of the next seven generations.
What a great mission statement. Seventh Generation is a company that I can really get behind.
Seventh Generation is the nation’s leading brand of household and personal care products that help protect human health and the environment. Established in 1988, the Burlington, Vermont based company remains an independent, privately-held company distributing products to natural food stores, supermarkets, mass merchants, and online retailers across the United States and Canada.
For a super fun and easy to make craft here is a video on how to make your own cute and scary germ monster! If you have a sick kiddo at home when you get to the bottom of the tissue box this is a fun activity to chear them up. I love to do crafts with Big Sis now that she is old enough to do them. The only reason I have not made one yet is that *knock on wood* my kids aren't sick right now so no empty tissue box.
The Cold Care Kit includeds:
Tissues
All Purpose Cleaner
Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner
Disinfecting Wipes
Two Hand Soaps
All Purpose Cleaner
Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner
Disinfecting Wipes
Two Hand Soaps
Even though the facial tissue is made from 100% recycled material it is extremely soft on the face and nose! I was sort of surprised and it made me love Seventh Generation even more.
I especially love the disinfecting wipes. With a toddler around I use these multiple times a day to clean up the high chair and other surfaces. It kills 99.99% of household germs botanically. Safe for all those surfaces that baby puts her hands on.
During this cold and flu season you can never have enough hand soap around the house. I try and teach my daughters how important it is to wash their hands before and after meal times as well as after play time outside to try and prevent the spread of germs. The soap I tried out felt like it was cleaning my hands well and best of all had a great scent.
Seventh Generation also offers a wide selection of products from granite cleaner to recycled trash bags. So make sure to try and keep your family nice and healthy all season long. Hopefully your Holiday Season will remain cold and flu free.
