Casey & Friends Book Series Offers a Glimpse Into Farm Life - Big Tractors Book Just Released + Book & CASE IH Toy Tractor Giveaway

My son is obsessed with all things that go. From cars to trucks and even tractors he loves watching them move and learning about what they do. There's a great new series out, Casey & Friends, that explores farm life and all of the machines that work on the farm. We've been to a working farm and my son had to sit in and ask about every tractor, so the latest book Big Tractors was perfect for him and he couldn't wait to read it.

Literature for little tractor fans just got smarter. A new series brings children interested in farming and farm equipment an educational and entertaining look at how tractors, combines and tillage equipment operate together on the farm. 

Published by Octane Press, an independent publisher known for award-winning tractor books, the Casey & Friends series uses photographs of CASE IH equipment in real farming situations with cartoon characters to explain how modern farm equipment works in a factual and fun way. Big Tractors is full of lots of information about all kinds of big tractors, yet the cartoon characters help to make it engaging and easily understandable for kids. There's even a glossary in the back to go over words that your child may be unfamiliar with and it also describes what each tractor does along with a picture showing what it looks like. My son's favorite page in the whole book was My Office in the Field because it allowed him to see what it would really look like while sitting inside of the tractor.

While we were reading the book, I gave him the matching CASE IH toy tractor. He was thrilled because it was just like the one in the book. It was nice to be able to actually see and hold the toy tractor while reading the book because it allowed him to point out exactly what he was seeing. We looked at the double tires, the weights on the front of the tractor, and even the stairs - all of which are shown and talked about in the book. If you have a tractor lover like I do, this is a must have book. I can't wait to get the others in the series so my son can learn all about life and the big machines on a farm.
