Who doesn't love to eat? This year, send them something you know they'll enjoy. The gift of food! Not just any food though, something to help that sweet tooth of theirs. Something totally delicious and gorgeous at the same time!

Fortune Cookies! Not just any old regular fortune cookie though. These fortune cookies are giant, colorful and absolutely delicious! They are mouthwatering and might just melt in your mouth too!

Just take a look at how delicious that fortune cookie looks! That Holiday Cheer Giant Fortune Cookie is actually much much smaller than it's real size. That baby is HUGE with lots of chocolaty goodness packed all around! It was absolutely delicious. You's be amazed at what a little bit of chocolate can do to a fortune cookie! It gives it a totally different taste that is just divine!

Now I have had one of these before, so this was no surprise to me at all. But, it is one of those things that you can totally get excited about all over again because they are just so darn good! I really didn't want to share. But I did since they all enjoyed it just as much as me and I couldn't just be selfish and not share.

Giant Fortune Cookies has huge cookies for every holiday or event. Their sister company, Fancy Fortune Cookies offers giants as well as flavored fortune cookies in tins. You can even get chocolate covered in the regular size version.

Aloha Friday

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that you take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question this week is:

Does your significant other go hunting? What do you do while he's away, or do you go too?
I am preparing for a girls weekend and I can't wait!

A Hunting They Will Go

Yep, it's that time of year again. Hunting season is upon us as the men travel off to the woods to hunt and have some male bonding time... If that's what they want to call it.

We've been running around all day getting his license and any new gear he needed. I actually saw the cutest pink camo gun and asked him to buy it for me. He said only if I go hunting. I might just have to do without, cuz I don't think I want to hunt.

Then I had to start washing all his stuff so it was fresh and he could hang it out in the fresh air with some fox piss. Yep, that's right, fox piss. Sounds good doesn't it? Not! He tried to make me smell it, yuck! He did get his curious boys to smell it of course though. Pretty disgusting if you ask me!

What will I be doing while the men folk are in the woods causing a ruckus? I'll be spending Saturday night with the girls. Dinner and drinks. Sounds fun to me! I look forward to our annual girls night out every year. It's always a blast with funny stories to tell for the rest of the year. What can I say, I love my girls! I'm sure I'll be blogging all about it after the weekend's over!

Holiday Gift Guide - Dish It Up with Cook Or Be Cooked

Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I've got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don't forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.

Video games are always a great gift idea for young and old alike. They can provide hours of entertainment for your little ones and even the older ones too.

Cook or Be Cooked is a great gift idea for the older chefs in the house, or even just a kid who's trying to learn how to cook. It helps teach you how to cook like a pro by teaching you the proper movements to slice and dice. This game can even be played on multi-player so someone else can join in on the fun!

You can do fun recipe challenges and even do dinner parties. You can grab some friends for a cook off or team up to make perfect dishes. Food Network experts Susie Fogelson and Mort Thomas help you out along the way.

The game uses real recipes that you can even create in your own kitchen! Now that's what I'm talking about! By the time I'm through this whole game, I'll be able to dish up some tasty recipes!

My kids are into helping in the kitchen, so they've been playing this game with me too and it's been a lot of fun cooking up some recipes together. It's definitely great practice for when they're older, and they don't really realize they're learning something as they go along. I have learned quite a few techniques since I started playing too. And did I mention the recipes? I already tried the potato salad and it is delish!

Buy It! You can buy Food Network: Cook or be Cooked at select local retailers or at a discount for $36.99 at Amazon.com.

A big thanks goes out to Nameco Banda Games for participating in this event!

Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I've got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don't forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.

With so many important papers laying around, a paper shredder is pretty much an essential part of the home or work office. It's better to shred up those documents with personal information instead of just simply tossing them in the trash that everyone has access to. Personal security, what a

The Fellowes 3227901 Intellishred PS-79Ci Shredder features a jam proof system so you don't have to worry about jams anymore. No more sorting through that junk mail before sending it through because this baby can handle pretty much anything. It can shred 12 sheets of paper at a time and can even shred CDs.

The bin is very easy to access and pulls out simply. The wheels make it easy to move around.

My family thinks this paper shredder is great. I love that it doesn't jam up and the papers are easy to feed through. The easy to empty bin is a great plus as well. The boyfriend just thinks it's awesome all together and told me to say so in my review. It's kind of funny, because he gives me that look if I stick something in the shredder when he's around; like I'm supposed to give it to him to do or something I guess.

Buy It! You can buy the Fellowes 3227901 Intellishred PS-79Ci Shredder for $179.99 after instant savings at Office Depot.

A big thanks goes out to Fellowes for participating in this event!

Holiday Gift Guide - Score a Touchdown with Kaskey Kids

Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I've got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don't forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.

Kaskey Kids was founded by Bruce and Christy Kaskey in 2001 with the purpose of creating simple sports action figures.

Give the gift this year that will help inspire imagination and fun. Kaskey Kids offers that with their sports action figures. Each set comes in a small case which includes everything you need to play out an imaginary sports game like football, baseball, soccer and hockey.

My kids, especially the oldest are really into sports. Their favorite game of course is football. I just knew they'd love these little sports sets. The hardest part was choosing the team since there's so many to choose from, but then the COLLEGE FOOTBALL GUYS Michigan seemed like a good choice.

I handed them the little box after they walked in from school one day and we set it up and checked it out right away. They really let their imaginations run wild and played with the sports figures set for hours. Who knew so much fun could come in such a small box!

Buy It! You can buy the College Football Guys Michigan {and other teams} for $28.99 each. You can also save 20% off your purchase with coupon code Holiday until January 1st.

A big thanks goes out to Kaskey Kids for participating in this event!

Fun At The Movies

I used to go to the movies all the time when I was younger. Then I had kids, costs went up and I just didn't have time to go as often. In fact, it was years since the last time I saw a movie. Pretty sad huh? Well I just went the other night, and it was just as much fun as I remember. The kids decided they didn't want to see the movie that was playing that they could watch, so they elected to stay home with the promise of a next time in the next couple of weeks. Of course I wasn't going to say no to that, a date night in a sense, just the boyfriend and I. How fun!

We got there about 10 minutes early and were surprised when we walked into the theater room and no one else was in there. Right before the start of the movie a woman walked in and another followed, but that was it. Just the four of us in a nice silent theater. I'll admit, it was kind of nice not having any heads in our way or having to listen to chatter, even though it's supposed to be quiet. It made for a nice peaceful movie.

General Mills started a special campaign just this month where you can receive a free movie ticket with the purchase of two General Mills specially marked boxes of cereal. Just simply find your codes inside each box after purchase and enter them at generalmills.com/moviecash so you can print your coupon good for admission to any movie. Click here to find a theater that's participating near you.

How would you like to win a Movie Moment Prize Pack? The prize pack includes 4 e-movie cash certificates ($12 each) and one (1) free coupon for a General Mills cereal.

Here's the scoop on how to enter my giveaways and get extra entries. Please leave a separate comment for each extra entry, otherwise it will just be counted as one. Your loss.
